I don't think there's a clean solution.  You could certainly accept
messages from both systems, and discard the duplicates; and I don't think
there'd be a big problem with cross-feeding if you only did it for a day or
so.  You might want to let your feeds know what you are trying to do, and
ask their advice in advance.
