Wow. I've never been able to figure out how some folks managed to do stuff
across brands like that, unless you've got some hellacious facilities or
something.

Oh, you mean standard shift as opposed to automatic? I haven't done much of
that sort of thing, most of what I've ever owned has been auto...
Speaking of which if the guy I got the truck from can get a hold of these
torque converters he's got someplace, I get to try and figure out which one
of three or so is the right one to go with the transmission that's in the
truck.
