| subject: | Re: Jobs on Leopard versions |
From: Robert Comer Yeah, I looked, still too rich for my blood. (er, billfold) Only 512M of RAM and built in intel Graphics, blech. It'd pay to go up to the $1199 model with better graphics and a bit more RAM. Maybe dual core wouldn't be a necessity, but other than the Mac Mini, that looks like all they're selling right now, and a Mac Mini seems pretty high cost for what it is! (32-bit processor, core solo or core duo, not much RAM or disk.) -- Bob Comer On Wed, 13 Jun 2007 11:17:34 -0400, RobertB wrote: >In article , > Robert Comer wrote: > >> $1500+ isn't what I'd call affordable. > >You can get the 17" model for around $1000. > > > >> >> -- >> Bob Comer >> >> >> On Tue, 12 Jun 2007 12:02:51 -0400, RobertB >> wrote: >> >> >In article , >> > Robert Comer wrote: >> > >> >> I've been wanting to get a Mac, but I need dual core with decent >> >> amount of RAM, and they're still way over my budget. :( >> > >> >iMacs are pretty reasonable, and they are core2duo. >> > >> > >> > >> > >> >> >> >> -- >> >> Bob Comer >> >> >> >> >> >> >> >> On Mon, 11 Jun 2007 14:28:51 -0400, "Rich Gauszka" >> >> wrote: >> >> >> >> >It was just a tongue-in-cheek jab at Windows versions.
