| subject: | sending big files? |
From: RobertB Is there a way other than e-mail to send a large (4 MB) file to a friend who knows nothing about FTP or the command line? I could send the file, but it would be pretty big once converted by the e-mail application, which is not the most efficient way to send files hither and yon. I suppose I could upload a copy to a directory at my ISP, but how is he going to download it? Can I set up a primitive Web page to do that? --- BBBS/NT v4.01 Flag-5* Origin: Barktopia BBS Site http://HarborWebs.com:8081 (1:379/45) SEEN-BY: 633/267 @PATH: 379/45 1 633/267 |
