-=> Quoting mark lewis to Greg Mayman <=- GM> That's odd... my two 386 motherboards were both bigger GM> than any of the 486 m/bs I've worked with. The old GM> 286 m/b with 1 meg of RAM was even bigger than the GM> 386's. ml> not so odd... the formfactor was known as "baby AT"... i've a 386/40 ml> motherboard here that's about the size of a book... I've got a 596 handheld unit that I was tempted to set up as a backup for my node. But I can't find the proprietary ethernet module for it. As is, unless I can cram one of those IDE to CF adapters in it, I have to hook it to a parallel port ZIP drive to get decent storage. It's the size of a paperback. --- FMailX 1.60* Origin: Shadowgard (1:105/50) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 @PATH: 105/50 360 106/2000 633/267 |
