Yes, it will do that. I have a W2K install partition that I burned to CD
and when I restore it to a 40gb drive I can tell it to just use 1gb or 10gb
or the full 40gb for that boot partition.

I don't know but when you do an image, typically you boot the driveimage CD
which is caldera DOS so single tasking. That might allow the CD to do a
proper job.
