I once saw a system transferring a .ARJ compressed file using a 14k4 connect
showing a CPS rate of ~4300CPS. The owner had set the fudge factor in
Terminate to 200% since that "gave him faster file transfers". It took
about 5 minutes work with the stopwatch functions of his watch to convince
him that it wasn't so.
