Hi There!
My name is Dave and I'm from eastern PA.  Good luck on your EMT.  I'm
an EMT-P and I enjoy it.  You will see many different things as you know, it 
could range from something minor such as a nose bleed or a small accident or 
you could see mass trauma.  The things I get in a day are generally medical 
emergencies like TIA's, MI's, CHF's, respitory distress..The pay will range 
from place to place...I do volunteer at one company and I'm paid at two 
others...I get paid at one of them at $17/hr and the other I get paid at 
$20/hr.
