  That's not quite what I meant by "how would you know."  What I meant was, 
if it was coming off the CD, how could you tell that it was karaoke?  Unless 
it was a tune very familiar (I still want "Kung-Fu Fighting" as sung by Tom 
Jones!), it would seem like he was singing his own song.

  Yes, but he's not alive, nor do you actually see him face-to-face, such as 
it is.
  He's in the "Master Leep's Temple" level.  Once you start to get out on the 
mountain ledges, look for a white bunny who jumps off.  Follow him, but use 
the map to make sure you're landing in a safe spot (i.e. water).  The rest is 
straightforward.
