There are a number of outright lies in this message posted by 
"God Dan" (AKA "Dan Ceppa", "Co-Moderator"
etc) concerning me 
and the "Edge_Online" echo.

I never "moaned" about not being able to list the echo; my
initial attempt to list the echo was successful, as were the
updates, subject to the limitations of ISD at the time, which
I never mentioned, let alone "moaned" about.

I never banned anyone in that echo, let alone "banned everyone
in HS". It was never my intention to ban anyone for any reason,
and never did ban anyone, or threaten to ban anyone.

Steve Q did not "list it for Asher", though he did challenge me
in this echo to list it, and did give helpful hints on how to
go about listing it, and help in having it placed on the various
backbones, for which I respect him.

"Ceppa" / "Dan" claimed to have placed me in a
"twit filter" at
some time when I was a regular poster in this echo; it is considered
to be bad form to comment on users who are supposedly "twitted";
I do not use them, but there are a number of people of whom I
have a very low opinion.

"Ceppa" / "Dan" is one of them, notably for his
penchant of attacking
people and lying about them, and then donning his "[co] moderator"
hat and ruling any challenge or rebuttal as off topic.

Flagrantly dishonest.

I am not the first to be lied about by "Ceppa" / "Dan"
/ "Co-Moderator"
in an echo. I doubt that I will be the last.

Try figuring out the Snyder didn't even know that his Echo was re-listed.
Asher didn't know that.  He thought that EDGE_ONLINE belonged to Steve Q.  
Had Asher known Snyder was the one who started it, you might have a case.  

My recollection is that Asher moaned about not being able to list the 
Echo and SteveQ helped him out.

Because no one ever heard of Snyder until he made his claim.

Wrong again, Earl.  The Echo had lapsed.  Snyder admits that.  The tag 
might have floated in limbo for a while amd even might have been fully 
expunged from the E-list.  And, it's possible that Steve Q knew of the 
old name and decided it would be a good one for Asher to use.  As 
above, Asher knew nothing of Snyder and the original listing. If he did, 
he said nothing about it.  Snyder stating that he was the moderator was 
news to me. I never heard of him until then.  Other than SteveQ having 
the listing for a while, it was my impression that it was started from 
scratch by Asher with the assistance of SteveQ.

Pretty much.  The whole idea was a joke.  I never logged on to there 
until Asher took over and banned everyone in HS in his announcent 
on his moderating the Echo.

Amazing!  I don't remember him actually listing me as co-mod.  I do 
recall requesting it as a joke.  

Now, as you have a source for older E-listings, try finding where 
Snyder lets the Echo lapse and what happens between that time and 
when Steve Q lists it for Asher.
