Sure isn't.

Since the problem is not one which would only apply to your Corolla, go on
and tell us of your efforts.

Adding oil to a stuck engine will not help 99% of the time.

I bet it will fail.... My guess would be a lower end problem.
MH> Has anyone used these ideas before?
Not on one frozen from running out of oil.
 MH> Did they work?
On one frozen fron sitting, yes.
MH> What type of oil should I use?
My choice would be Marvel Mystery Oil.

How easy is it to drop the pan on this sucker? If not too hard that is the
first thing I would do. You may find something like a broken rod jamming the
engine but not punched clear through. Normally if something on the upper end
freezes while driving on a OHC engine you will strip the timing belt and be
able to turn the engine over at least.

How much does it cost to get the crank ground and put a set of bearing in
this Corolla? If it has been run out of oil, I think you will want to do at
least that much.

Sure, it should apply to OLDCARS also, so keep us informed.

Just try to keep it on the stuck engine topic and don't go off asking where
to find crap like new knobs for the rear windows and it will be okay.
