-> On 12 Apr 09 15:24:38, EARL CROASMUN got back to God Dan -> Re: FOOD FOR THOUGHT ~> Wrong, Earl. Unless the deceased left a will that they wanted to convert ~> to mormonism, it should not be done. It's offensive to the deceased ~> beliefs. EC> Still you lack a clue. How in the world do you think a living person EC> can convert a dead person to a different religion, and why do you think EC> that has anything to do with the practice that was discussed in the EC> article? You really need far more than a single quarter for the number of clues needed for you to fugure out the situation. Read up on the crap about baptizing the dead. It's so that those "poor, un-mormon souls" are able to get into mormon heaven. Why on earth would, say a Lutheran, who was a proud and practicing Lutheran all of his life, want to spend eternity with mormons? What they are doing is offensive to that person's memory. It denegrates his life-long beliefs. Hell, odds are that that person viewed mormonism as a cult. ... Cretins are synonymous with Christians.
