 No pain. :) It's just that SOME humor is good, self effacing humor is
good, witty humor is good, dumb willfully ignorant humor is bad.
JUMHO. :) I just discourage it by not passing any of it on.
And say something like um...  this is funny?

Remeber it was not very long agao and I think still... drunks were
butts of humor. Not so funny anymore. Now that we know alcoholism is a
disease that can be treated.

Humor can be misplaced, it can be enabling, in the negative way as
well as the positive.
