Well to be honest that's the way I would have tested it first. Scan with
adaware and spybot, then with the new one, if the new one doesn't pick up
anything the others missed then who needs it.. I do see value in going the
other way as well but that's not where I would have started.
I've not tested it myself because I'm just completely uncomfortable with
trusting an adware remover from a company who promoted webbugs umm sorry..
web beacons as a tracking device for both websites and email campaigns. A
company who puts both ads for ISPs and picture printing services in their
Operating systems.
An AV program, a trojan detector/remover, ok I can see where their
motivation to provide those originates from the right place but I don't see
how they can justify an adware remover when they cater to the marketing
industry with special features for tracking and where they leverage their
OS to advertise free email services, ISPs and photo services. It just
doesn't seem right to me.
