After you are dead, they are going to come and MAKE you a Mormon. -> Bwahhhahahahaha! -> That'll scare you atheists!!! You don't care to understand, do you? I've explained it 6 ways from Sunday but I'll try again. You and several others keep bleating about RESPECT for other people's religions. And yet you continue to defend this practice. Let's see if I can put it in terms you might come close to comprehending. Let's say you have someone you loved very much, cared for all your life. Someone you saw frequently and knew quite well. Someone who shared a lot of things with you. You knew the favorite foods, the way the person felt about life and death issues. You knew what the person wanted in the way of a funeral...the church where it was to be held, the music played, whatever. Now this person has died and you are in charge of the funeral but you decide to scrap everything the person wanted, have them cremated and scatter the ashes to the sound of rock and roll. Would you consider that respectful? Why not? the person's dead and wouldn't have any way of knowing or caring. It's the same thing with changing their religion after death...it's not respectful of the person and what they wanted. Or doesn't that count if you just tack 'religion' on to it? - --- Platinum Xpress/Win/WINServer v3.0pr5a* Origin: FidoTel & QWK on the Web! www.fidotel.com (1:124/311) SEEN-BY: 10/1 3 14/250 34/999 120/228 123/500 128/2 140/1 222/2 226/0 249/303 SEEN-BY: 250/306 261/20 38 100 1381 1404 1406 1418 266/1413 280/1027 320/119 SEEN-BY: 396/45 633/260 267 690/734 712/848 800/432 801/161 189 2222/700 SEEN-BY: 2320/100 105 2905/0 @PATH: 124/311 140/1 261/38 633/260 267 |
