GW>I don't know about the Windows version of Qmodem Pro, but my DOS version
GW>lets you select the terminal emulation used for each phone book entry.
GW>When I call a number in the phone book, the software uses pre-defined
GW>terminal emulation, script file, and modem settings automatically. If I
GW>set the phone book entry for OCC to "RIP", then the auto-detect on
GW>Wildcat! gives me RIP. If I call using my standard "ANSI" setting, the
GW>auto-detect gives me color ANSI. I find the terminal emulation setting
GW>very handy when I set up accounts that I call routinely.

QmodemPro for Windows allows you to choose either Ansi or Rip (comes
with many extras for Rip) QmPro for windows has a lot of great
features, I was a Qmodem test drive user for years, but when I bought
Qmodem Pro for windows I will n;ot use any thing else. There is even
Olx for windows now and QmPro lets you set macros and dI can go right
into OLX from QmodemPro without having to close QmPro first.
