re - new words for the Barney song, etc - my brother in law does too, 
he goes with "I hate you, you hate me, we're a dysfunctional family" 
(just about covers it over there - grin)   I have a reason to hate 
Barney - I am a recovering incest survivor also and I don't trust any 
t.v. program for KIDS that tells a kid that if someone smiles at you, 
that means they are a nice person.  I don't THINK so.

Hmmm, selling bike to get sober?  I thought I read the only requirement
for membership was a desire to stop drinking?   In fact in our area 
there is an older lady - sixty something - who used to be a 
real-down-and-outer type, almost became a bag lady, came very close.
She always wanted a bike and in early sobriety, she hung on to that.
She cleaned up her act.  She got a job at a local detox.  And she now 
rides all over town on a harley.  How this little woman gets on that 
big bike is an amazing feat to see, in my opinion.  But she did it.
And she says that in the beginning saving the money for it helped her 
choose not to drink on a few rough days.   So whoever told you that you
can't stay sober and keep riding is full of something, well, stinky - 
maybe even jealousy. (GRIN)
