From: Jeff Shultz

In the past couple days I've run into two sorta cases - one SP2 refused to
install on a homebrew ("my son built it for me") system, and one
that a person asked if I could reinstall their system... I told him that we
didn't normally do that (we don't) and that in any case he'd need a valid
copy of Win98... he asked if he could use a friends. It took a
couple of tries to explain that this was piracy, and he was probably out of
luck trying to find someplace to buy it as well.
