The eclipse was barely visible here. For starters, at moonrise, the eclipse was
already in full swing and at full eclipse, it was just over 5 degrees above the
horizon. The sky was not clear, it was hazy. I could just see it through the
trees by moving around to find a good spot. This was one of the least
impressive lunar eclipses I have ever seen.
By the time it had risen high enough the be above the haze, it was all over.
Nah, I will go for the jan 2019 eclipse.
