Rick,
     regardless of the limitations of a 33.6k connect... all of the
techie stuff you've listed... your entire post... I did see this speed
and it was confirmed by the sysop of that BBS.  I couldn't care less
about the details of whether it was a loosely packed zip file, or,
whether some other form of compression was involved.
All that my post stated was that I saw this speed and had it comfirmed.
Nothing was irrational about it.  Why do you have such a problem with
this?
