BL> Wow! Talk about echoing my life. :) I had Polio in 1945 also, but

BL> You'll find others around here who've had the same experiences.
Hey Bob, small world.... Nice to meet you.
Well we were in the 45 bunch....:) I wore braces too for many yrs.
still wear a small ankle brace. It is my knee that is giving away fast,
and I can't stand or walk on it hardly. You know the bright side (if
that's what it is) is the wheelchair is not all that bad.....:) At least
the leg is not hurting while in it. I have a full leg brace, but just
can't stand it (feel like I am falling all the time) I know I am
hard-headed and all, but I've been without Full leg brace so long I just
as soon use the W/chair.
What do you do now Bob? Do you work? I am on Disablity (SS) 5 yrs. I
was a Computer operator until the leg started going weak on me. Now I
play here at home with computers and Radios (I'm a Ham) That keeps me
pretty busy..... Plus I work on guns...Refinish, and minor repair on them.
Do quite a bit of target shooting........
Nice meeting you Bob..........
