Which is usually ok as long as we are talking about small-scale things that can
just break without causing too much trouble. I wouldn't put nuclear power
plants on that list. The larger, more connected and more "the same" our world
gets, the higher the risk will be that actually rather simple issues will cause
us great troubles. Monocultures may be more efficient in a small parameter
space, but they are fragile and bound to fail on a larger spectrum. No matter
if we talk about farming, energy harvesting or economics here.
