There are many ways an administration can "fake" an attack in order
to justify an invasion.  But I find it extremely doubtful that the Bush
administration, or that of any other American administration, would have
knowingly allowed terrorists to hijack passenger airlines and plow them
into skyscrapers and the Pentagon.

Unlike Saddam Hussein in Iraq, Fidel Castro did in fact have WMDs
on Cuban soil.  Fortunately, JFK convinced Kruschev to remove the
missiles from Cuba before an American invasion was incurred.

There are contingency plans for everything, including invading the
Vatican.  Not that a contingency plan means that it will in fact be
carried out.

Contingency plans are one thing.  Actions taken are quite another.

That does sound more logical than Farrakhan's version.

Who would argue against invading Afghanistan in order to go after
those terrorists who struck America?  Virtually every American wanted
Osama bin Laden's head on a pike.  And most still do.

Notice that invading Iraq was not on Bush's agenda until after his
poll numbers skyrocketed following the beginning of the invasion of
Afghanistan.  If another terrorist attack similar to the events of 9-11
takes place, the blame might very well be placed on African Americans.
And Bush's poll numbers will skyrocket once again.
