I managed to get on the Internet via a friend's house today, and I managed 
to catch a glimpse of that first DNF screen shot.  Very impressive!  It seems 
detailed and it looks more "real" than even Quake II right now.
  Of course, it's hard to escape the objects that draw attention, namely that 
weapon and the Hum-Vee.
  First, the weapon... what is it?  It looks somewhat like a rocket launcher, 
but I couldn't tell for sure.  It seems to harken back to Turok in a way.
  Then, the Hum-Vee.  Do you actually get to drive that baby?  Looks like it, 
given the well-done texturing and the weapons onboard.  Maybe this is 3D 
Realms' answer to all those "Death Rally 3D" pests like me...
