The last batch of 1% resistors I ordered had 3 significant and a multiplier,
but no tolerance  but thanks for the note. fyi, military (commonly called
milspec) grade resistors are supposed to use 5 bands and may very well have
brown for 1%, though I can't very this. [:-)
