Thanks for your comments about lye.  I'm almost convinced enough to try.
I heard that you were sending soap making directions to someone else.  I
could give you my email address   Sara.Goldstein@hq.com    but why not
post them here so anyone could take advantage of saving them if they
wanted to.
I lent my book to a friend to read so I don't have it at the moment...
will get back to you on that one.
Please, please, do post the directions.
