Well I finally bought a 28.8 modem. In a previous message to me, you stated 
the USRs connect best to other USRs. I found out that
all the BBSs I connect to were running USRs, so that's what I bought too. I 
didn't buy the 28.8i, but rather the 28.8. I was
told by a few people to stay away from the USR i series. It's an
external so there was no IRQs to mess with . Now, if only 
my FoxPro 5 would come in (MS has cashed my cheque). I just have
to be patient. 
 
Anyways, thanks for the modem info you provided to me earlier. I did use it 
in my decision as to which modem to get.
