     I fish for carp and find them great sport. A kid would really get a 
thrill with a 10 pound carp on the line. I don't eat them either. There are 
two basic types of carp around here. The slimmer redish colored carp is the 
German carp and is really no good to eat. There is another carp that has more 
of a whitish color and is fatter. It would be the typpe to eat if you wanted 
carp. I make my own dough bait. They can't sell lures or bass boats for carp 
fishing or they might be a game fish.
