The device you are describing is called a "server" it is not a
"service" = in that it has nothing to do with the content, it's
simply a device like = a VCR is a device. I understand what you are saying
about it delivering = content within the house but Media center is not
required for that, a = simple file server would suffice (that's all I use).

As for "quite easily" and Rich, I have been trying to understand
why he = can't lighten up but I've no idea. My guess is he's really a
female and = only visits us when he's on the rag.

Yet Media Center can deliver 'content' stored on a PC to various =
devices in the household. My definition of content was the basic one =
'something contained'. I can understand how MS would view 'content' =
differently yet if that was his problem with my post it could have been =
rectified quite easily in his reply. Sometimes it seems that people are =

Rich S. :-)=20

I think what he's getting at is that the content delivery service is =
(or will be) an added cost extra. Media Center is more like a cable = ready
TV it doesn't include cable service.
