We used to have a mulberry tree at our old house too. not sure if ours are
the
same type as yours or not but I know ours sure was a messy thing. When the
berries got ripe they fell off on the ground and then started to ferment
ight
there. Smelled like a winery for a month. Couldn't even walk in the back
yard
for weeks.
When the berries were still on the tree the birds would eat them
and then leave the most lovely shade of purple stripes down the side of the
yellow house!
