ù Quoting Rich Willbanks from a message to Ryan Bagueros ù
RW> Yes. You know that one of the possible consequences of using

Your logic is circular at the very least and irrelevant at best. I have a
choice to take the risk; I do not have the choice if I get arrested.
RW> People (black and white) made choices, HARD CHOICES, choices that I
RW> don't think YOU would make to change things. And yes some people
RW> chose to just continue to ride in the back of the bus and drink at

Whoa! This is a treat! So where were *you* in 1968? Let me guess, at home,
cursing the *radicals* that were destroying this country, just like you are
doing today, when you *assume* that there is nothing wrong. Hindsight *is*
20/20, and now that everyone kisses the butt of civil rights reforms in the
60's, its really easy to come out in favor of them. But what were you doing
then? And WHAT ARE YOU DOING NOW? I wasn't alive in the 1960s, but I have
probably been a part of more actions and demos against racism and classism
than
you have in your entire life.
Its interesting ... everyone supports civil disobedience to combat racism
THEN.
No one wants to face the fact that its still here, and probably worse in many
ways.
