You need to use a terminal program that can upload using Xmodem-CRC, but that
isn't as easy as it sounds because various programs use different names for
the protocol that is needed. You may have to try more than one.
Assuming that you have a terminal program with lots of X- and Y-modem
choices, simply type ATUPX. The modem will erase its programming and tell
you to begin uploading. At that point, start the upload of the unarchived
firmware. It should take a minute or two.
If it doesn't succeed, try a different version of Xmodem or Ymodem. Your
modem won't work until you succeed.
