You are probably right. I deal mostly with Slackware (even at work), which is very BSDish, so maybe I am biased. When I last tried FreeBSD the install procedure and default(ish) programs in it brought me memories of Linux. Meanwhile, OpenBSD ships with its own structure and quirks (OpenSMTPD instead of postfix or exim , wxallow filesystems by default, no PAM, you get the idea). NetBSD install procedure is so RTFM that the whole thing feels like a high tech dinossaur. Or maybe I should stop doing bourbon. --- SBBSecho 3.08-Linux* Origin: Vertrauen - [vert/cvs/bbs].synchro.net (1:103/705) SEEN-BY: 103/705 154/10 203/0 218/700 221/0 1 6 242 360 229/426 240/5832 SEEN-BY: 280/464 5003 292/854 310/31 320/219 396/45 423/120 633/0 267 280 281 SEEN-BY: 633/384 410 412 509 640/1321 1384 712/848 770/1 2452/250 5020/545 @PATH: 103/705 280/464 221/1 640/1384 633/280 267 |
