We'uns don't call it "in hand" Y'all.. we call it halter class. ;)

Well we've discussed that in here fairly often Meg.. heck.. you should have
known.
With Quarters and that type of horse.. there are several ways to breed. The
top two are Halter and Performance (let's say WP classes).
The "typey" Halter type horses are "IMPRESSIVE" type breedings. Heavy short
coupled muscular type horses.. with small feet. The performance (i.e. like WP
and english flat work) are more TB like.. or refined.
I mentioned this when we were talking about the way I wanted to improve CJ..
and that's why I went with Zippo Pine Bar. He's a "refined" Quarter horse..
definately not Halter class material.
Color is simply based on quality of color and not physical comformation.
