Have you ever known a vendor to REMOVE a copyprotection just because they
no longer support a product? Ever?
Microsoft will come to the logical conclusion that if they remove
activation when they EOL the product, then everyone is going to pirate it
and god knows we can't have that..
It would be like making XP public domain from microsoft's pov. It's an act
that will make the copyprotection nuts over there go into hyperdrive.
