Sad to say, I havn't been on Indiana Jones and the Temple of the
Forbidden Eye. It was still under construction on my last visit west.
Like you I am not likely to revisit DL any time soon (barring a hit on
the lottery). What I wrote about it, and what I know of it, comes mostly
from watching "Inside Out" on the Disney Channel. It does sound like a
pretty exciting ride!
Somehow, I expect that Indiana Jones will find a similar, but different
adventure in Florida. I too hope it comes soon.

That seems to be a pretty universal opinion on this echo.

I kinda suspect the imagineers could figure out how to do just about
anything they could imagine. 8;-) The big reason for the lack of
waterfalls at WDW is they weren't neccesary--at DL, those drops are
needed to get you underneath the railroad tracks. WDW was planned with a
Pirates from the beginning.

Yes, the Blue Bayou Restaurant and the whole bayou scene is one of the
most effective parts of the DL Pirates, IMHO. The contrast between that
quiet, idyllic scene and the death and destruction to come is part of
what makes DL Pirates so effective (and WDW Pirates so pale by
comparison). The Blue Bayou is without question the most romantic
restaurant in DL, and one of the Park's precious few quiet spots.
Question: Anybody here see WDW Pirates first and then DL? What do you
think of the two?
