AA> My first modem came with a Compuserve introductory package. That was
Yep, that's how I got started. But believe it or not, the
main reason I called CompuServe that first time was to look
for a list of BBS numbers! (I knew there had to be at least
a couple of BBSes where I lived, but I didn't think to ask
anyone at the computer stores.)
AA> Does Compuserve still have that 25 cent connection fee?
Nope. Just the regular monthly usage-fee. In my case, it's
$9.95 for the first five hours, then a charge for every
additional hour. There's an unlimited-usage plan for about
$25 per month, but that's mainly for people who use
CompuServe as a gateway to the Internet.
... I am not into denial...but if I was, I'd certainly never admit to it.
