In Australia, the ISDN line charges were comparable to POTS, but local calls
were timed for ISDN, while they were a flat 25c untimed on POTS. So for any
decent data use, ISDN became very expensive. I can't recall what the ISDN
charges were when the office had a 128k line, which was up 24x7. The call
charges were capped, but it was well into the $100s/month, from what I recall.
