G'morning David, DW> Incidentally, here's the latest version of the triples program. DW> *Surely* Miles will find that this executes (with the PRINT line DW> disabled) in less than 4 seconds, out to 10,000. And a shining example of annotation it is, indeed. First trial ran me into the set-up questions ... teach me to read the whole and not look for specific parts. Second trial set the range 0 - 10000 and it clocked in again at 4 seconds. However, I'm quite suspicous of this Toshiba running under W2K Prof - the DOS prompt I run under doesn't behave quite like the direct feel I get under dos6.22 on an older machine, and I fear the programme is wading through Windoze restraints in some sense or other - handicaps I haven't managed to detect or measure. :-( ___ MultiMail/MS-DOS v0.45 --- Maximus/2 3.01* Origin: === Maxie BBS.
