They weren't "raiding" anybody. I sat and watched the whole think
live on the tube. I also buy my weapons from B&B (the gunshop) and
the actual fact was the staff couldn't get the AR-15's and related
paraphenalia out fast enough, to the LAPD. The staff voluntarily
OFFERED whatever was in the store ->NEW UNBOXED WEAPONS<- and said
to them ->TAKE YOUR PICK<- and if they had grenades and Plastique
they'd have offered THAT to them.
They weren't ordering anybody... the LAPD was asking for help.
Knowing how things work around here... B&B probably called the NoHoPD
and offered the store to them, because all of a sudden about a third
of the force jumped and ran to the store... watched it all, as it
happened.
LAPD has a very nasty rep around here... and a lot of people don't
like them. I don't like their demeanor myself, but do know they'd
never force property from anyone to augment the necessity of duty.
Believe me; their running into the store was prearranged.
