nope.  the QUOTE is california.   maybe because it's the californians who 
are...brasher enough to complain about how it's done where they are now?
remembering my experiences with Marin Cnty meetings....  and Ray and Tim and 
I chuckled some about 'em...and Harriet and I still do, now that my life 
experiences have...caught up with the quote that seemed so funny at the 
time..  but I wouldn't sit in a meeting there and say "well, in Nashville we 
do it THIS way..."...  it would just be RUDE, you know?

yep.  SAD is a reality for a lot of us...  and, for you, a form of culture
