SK> NOPE! No keys, no commandeering. I'd like to see the jury convict me.
SK> Now if the cop wishes to beat me about the head and shoulders to get
SK> my keys that is another matter...hey, i'd love to own city hall.
SK> Now WHAT special place are the cops going...without a vehicle..that
SK> warrants stealing my car? (and I DO agree that the "have the right"
SK> legally to do this) Point is, _I_ will not submit.
I could cite numerous examples that would make perfect common sense, but I
think that I would be wasting my time after reading your entire message.
There have already been sufficient examples given anyway. You have even
agreed that the practice is legal, yet you point out that you will not
submit. The jails are full of folks with this mentality. I will simply say
that commandeering a vehicle is a rare situation in most jurisdictions, and
it involves an extreme emergency. Odds are this situation would never come
up if you lived 10 lifetimes, but who knows. I won't waste my time in
furnishing you any more information on this subject.
