In recent months, Ms. Tanya Metaksa has launched two internet- 
based series of articles in which her experience and insight 
are applied in abundance.  Already covering a wide range of
RKBA issues, these concise, to-the-point reports bring
history into focus with recent events and make for a
greater understanding of where firearms issues have been and 
currently stand in critical areas.

Ms. Metaksa has proven her effectiveness many times over
with continued success, such as NRA's tremendous 1997 victory
in Washington State, defeating the intrusive I-676 gun control
initiative with over 75% of the vote.  In the same year,
NRA-ILA defeated a virtual landslide of anti-gun legislation
in California comprised of handgun bans, finger-printing
requirements, trigger lock mandates and many other infringements 
on law-abiding Californians.
