From: "Glenn Meadows"
Well, the main one was the fact that an audio application that is now
designed to run on a laptop only runs on XP Pro was the main one. It's a
scaled down version of what's on my two main audio editing systems, and I'm
going to need to be doing some location work, so it's easier to do it in
the same program with external HD recorders. That of itself was the
reason.
I would have loved to stay on Win2K, but this was a job decision.
Virtually every other system at the office is XPPro, so it's not like I
don't have the "experience" running it.
Sometimes, we have to move forward. .
