You can use the included ICE Html viewer if you like.
No, it does not compose, nor send in HTML mode, it's one of the
"features" of the mail client. If you receive an HTML email, and
you're set to view in plain text only, it will extract all the text from
the message, and display that. It's also been tested to NOT send data back
ala Web Bugs (been tested with Georges test page, and is clean there).
The HTML part shows as an attachment, that you can click and load in your
web browser if you like.
Personally, I use it for all my email other than company stuff.
I really find that I don't miss the html part of the mail at all.
