I hope that you don't assume that I automatically believe everything I'm
told, simply because the person is a cop, do you? I don't even do that with
the 147 cops on my small department. Police officers are taught to doubt,
question to find the truth, and look for corroboration before they believe
something to be the truth. There are very few people, including police
officers, that I trust to the extent that there would never be any questions
about anything they said. But you didn't answer the question, "were you
wearing clothes at the time?"
RB> You are right about one thing, though, it probably wasn't because I
RB> was asking for a quarter. The cop who arrested me told me to my face
RB> that it was because I was active in Copwatch.
Again, I am hearing one side of the story. If you told the WHOLE story and it
was 100% ACCURATE, there would be lawyers lined up begging to take your case,
so there is a problem here somewhere. If the case was like you presented it,
any lawyer would take the case without any payment up front and take their
fees out of your winnings. However, something is wrong with this picture or
you would already be one of those rich guys.
