there are at least three routes (if you count direct connections) that
netmail can travel to get to richard's system... one goes via the Z1C and
the other goes via N116C who then shuffles it off to me on some irregular
schedule so that richard can pick it up when he connects here... the path
to his NC is unknown by me... there are multiple paths to me, though...

i know we've been talking about the ping function, too... have you tried it
to see if you get any intermediate systems responding with a trace reply? 
i'm sending one to your system at this time ;)

i can confirm that netmgr is quite intelligent in determining what needs to
be done to execute a program or script ;)

definitely! like myself... i can write some excellent technical papers but
the average joe won't understand them... i generally have to get someone
who knows almost nothing about computers to write up the docs for my
programs so that they are understandable :lol:
