did you use windows update or do it manually? I've heard from some people
who have had incomplete installs with windows update.

I've also seen incomplete installations if you run a software firewall and
do a manual install if the firewall blocks update.exe from chatting with
the microsoft servers on port 80 (I guess they wanted it to just waltz thru
proxy servers).
