    Hate to be stupid here -- but what's a "French Snaffle" bit??  All I've 
ever used on X-Man is a little Tom Thumb snaffle bit ...... or an "O" Ring 
snaffle bit for driving. Don't seem to need anything else ..... (BTW, I only 
use a little Tom Thumb snaffle bit on Sham when *I* ride -- Bren uses a 
roller bit that I don't think Sham likes at all!)
