 Either the cheap Chinese steel or the special steel for the car industry that
 is imported from my country. Those are the materials that are being
 charged with extra import taxes. Whith that extra tax you local indutry
 should be able to compete. Either way the end product gets more expensive.

 My point is that it is not possible for your industry to just turn a nob
 and start producing. To continue production of produtcs that are base on this
 imported steel, you still have to import it.

 As Ward said in a previous message. Your end products will be more
 expensive. When these endproducs are for export, your competive position
 does not improove.
